On Christmas Eve an "anonymous" (I know who did it) comment was posted under my "celebrating youth"-post. You can read it
here. (On Christmas Eve! Some people don't have a life, don't they? o_O; )
I actually replied in german.
The comment says "The outfit looks cheap. Just partying and drinking. Today's youth." (I added some punction marks - as today's youth should do :D)
Well, I just want to make some things clear to everyone.
You may think whatever you want about my styling and my outfits. I know that sometimes they are a bit extreme. Maybe a bit too sexy. But that's what I like. I wouldn't wear outfits that I dislike. It's okay to have your own opinion on that. There are definitely types of styles out there that I dislike as well.
I would rather post comments like "I would rather wear a different top/skirt/whatever with it", I would at least make a suggestion on how this person could improve, not just ranting about it, tough. That's what I prefer to read, too. If you dislike some outfits of mine, I would appreciate a critic, that helps me understand why you think so. That's my personal interest.
Than this "today's youth"-thing. Okay, I wouldn't consider myself as "youth" anymore (I'm 26 by now xD), but... thanks anyway ^^; (Yesterday at a bar I had to prove that I'm not underaged with my identity card.. I was actually the oldest one out of our group o_O But well... ^^; )
Today's youth is another problem. And I mean teenagers that don't show any respect to older people, smoke, drink and cause a lot of ruckus. Well, all that doesn't belong to me or my friends. I don't get what "anonymous" wanted to state.
Then: Just partying and drinking. Huh? I go clubbing with my friends on average once a month (I've enough pressure with school, I wouldn't have any more time for partying anyway, Fighting for better education - that's so "today's youth", huh? *ironic*). Once a month isn't often in my opinion. And even if it would be in your opinion: What's wrong with that? It's not like we meet up, take drugs and go out, beating defenseless people on the street or stealing cars... lol.. we are just dancing. Dancing! That doesn't hurt anyone (besides aching muscles on the next day :D).
Yes, we are drinking alcohol. But drinking once in a while isn't a bad thing, either. It's not like I'm drunk everyday o_O And it's not like me or my friends are unconsciously lying on the floor of some disco in our own purge or being fetched by an ambulance because of alcohol poisoning. That never happened. And believe me, that would be a big shock for me if this would ever happen with people I know. Either is there none of us driving after drinking. for me that's the worst thing ever. Risking the own and the life of other people. I would
never tolerate this.
I just like to dress up, dance, meet people and have fun with my friends! I'm no whore and I'm not drug-addicted.
So, please, don't drag your prejudices on me.
Honestly, I don't know which kind of picture you have gotten of me... I'm a little shocked. Maybe this "anonymous"-person didn't read my blog, just looking at the pictures and drawing awkward conclusions or.. just wand to rant.
But before there is any further misunderstanding I wanted to clarify this.
