Mallorca part 1 - of course picture-heavy :D

I'm finally back from Mallorca! (actually I'm back since last sunday, but I wasn't able to see through my pictures because the sun hits my monitor so much that I can't nearly see if the pictures turned out good or blah ^^; )

Soo... first to tell.. it was HOT... yeah, I really like summer, I'm freezing the most time of the year in germany even in summer (the so-called "summer" in germany ;))
But over 40 ° at noon is too much... even for me! We were sweating so much that we had to shower at least twice a day xD Without my fan I would have been death! Sweated to dead, lol. Not a good way to die.

I only had my "normal" digicam with me and not my reflex camera, because it's too big and too heavy to travel with it. But honestly.. there were so many times I really wished I had this camera with me to take better pictures from the beautiful landscape! >_< But we'll have to deal with normal digcam-pictures.

So, here we go! Be aware of a huuuuuugh picture spam... ;)




First... I've dyed my hair two-tone with pink! The color will fade out after a few hairwashs so I was on the safe side if I wouldn't like it. But I do! ^_^

I think of getting this permanent.. but couldn't find some permanent haircolor to do this myself. Anyone has an idea?

That's my outfit for travelling. Love the new top I bought inTally Weijl in Leipzig ^_^ and of course... chains may not be absent! ^^












At the airport... it's the smallest airport I've ever seen... only a few flights a day...



While we were waiting we sat outside and watched... a parking plane xD But better than nothing.

And of course.. getting into Mallorca-mood with beer!

And we were not the only ones, there were so much party-people on our flight xD Some girls carried there bottles of Vodka in a big see-through bag with them... that really made me feel ashamed for them..  I mean... seriously?! (I wanted to take a picture of that, but I couldn't take a good one)

Further picture spam on board... the 2 1/2 hour flight bored us :D (as you can obviously see)

And a great few at the Alps!!

Finally we arrived at our destination: Paguera, in the west of Mallorca. It's a touristic town with a great beach shore, a promenade and a lot of stores. I liked it a lot!









At 20 pm. We just had to jump in :D (sorry, no pics from that, haha)

Then we went back to our hotelroom, showered and dressed up again.In the meantime it got dark xD

1st cocktail! And it was the very best! Coco Loco - so delicious!!

Why isn't it offered in germany, too?!

In contrary to my thoughts it wasn't that pricey at all! A cocktail costs around ~ 5 €. You could get a good meal for 6 - 10 €! But more of this in the next post.....

Step-skirt Transformation

I got this step-skirt from my sister. She didn't want to wear it anymore. It's just black, plain and boring jersey.

But.. long skirts aren't my thing, you know... ;)

So I transformed it into a..... (who might have guessed) ....dress! Yeah! I love dresses! ^^
I just cut the lowest step of the skirt (because it had an awkward length) and sew it on the neckline. I also added a triangle-string around the neck and sew a little chain on the front - ready!

As a belt I used some other chains.. I'm addicted by chains at the moment.. harhar.... ^^
I think it turned out really pretty and elegant! What do you think?
Can't wait to wear this at a sunset-beach-walk ♥

Yeah.. tomorrow at this time I'll get off to the airport :D I'm so happy!!! ^_^

But there's a lot to do until then.. I've to do my nails, finish a crochet-top, pack my things, go shopping for cat food, call my mum and tidy up the flat ^^;;

As I got some new fake hair from my friend Tobi (why doesn't Magdeburg have such great shops that Leipzig has? >_<'') I had to do a test-hairstyle with it :3 I'm also wearing false lashes again... I still suck at applying them, have to practice more -_-
I'm quite happy with this style (absolutely need some hair-flowers!!), so, here it is:

Than I saw this  video of Mia Magma (a german porn-star, I'm following her on facebook, she's so pretty :D) - german only, sorry - where she is on a beach on Mallorca, showing the "new Mallorca-Style" - it's quite funny ^^

This cut-your-old-jeans-thing did I do a long time ago, but my version isn't that short at the backside (which you don't see on this photo, hehe) ...  ;)

 I put a curtain in the background so that you can't see my chaos anymore ^^;;

This tanga-under-bikini-style was also available on rakuten and several japanese magazines a long time ago.... but I think here the strings belong to the bikini-slip ;)

Korean-Music-Flash!

Lately I got into Korean Pop/Dance-Music! I never thought I would go korean, because the language sounds really strange when you're used to japanese... or english. But this few songs (I learned about them on some other blogs, like vor instance Zhi Zhi's Blog -  love her blog! -, I really like music-recommondations, so please, go on posting! ^^) really catched my ears!
Please give them a try!

The songs and dancemoves are so sexy! I'm really getting into partymood while listening to them! :D

How to transform an 80's dress into a nightdress!

My family often gives me their old discarded clothes because I am designing a lot out of old clothes ^_^v I am happy about every donation! xD

This time I got this... 80's dress...
My first reaction was: "A... nightgown?"
My Mom: "NO! A dress!"
Me: "BUT it's SO large!"
My Mom: "But with a belt this was quite popular." (that's just what I use to say, lol. My mom's the best :D)

But I couldn't get over the thought of doing a nightgown out of it.... *g*
Normally I sleep in XXL-Shirts, quite "Chii"-like ;D but since I live in a shared flat I want to wear something pretty once in a while xD

So, let the transformation begin........

I cut the arms and the neckline at the dotted line.

 Than I ruffled the front part and held it together with a safety-pin.

 That's the back. I marked how long the back should be open and cut it on the dotted line.

 That's how it looks an me. It's still really BIG and looks like a greek toga xD

The frontpart. I'm holding the neckline :D

From then I couldn't take any pictures for you.. I just have to explain what I did. 

• cut the skirt to the wished length
• sew the cutted line cleanly
•  ad black bias tape ("Schrägband" in German) to the bottom part (not neccessary but I liked it that way) and to the neckline. The neckline is being closed by a ribbon out of the black bias tape.
• I added a few darts ("Abnäher" in German) in the back because it was still too big for me.

And that's it! 

I could also wear this as a beachdress... hihi.. :)

... just waking up and not knowing myself anymore...

Do you know these days when you wake up and know something inside you has change in a totally wrong direction? It feels like not knowing myself anymore.. just waking up and not knowing myself anymore.
That's a really creepy feeling...

But these days exist and I have to deal with them and keep believing that tomorrow everything will be better...

Meanwhile I'm just trying to detract myself from this awkward feelings by sorting some pictures and doing a blogpost...

For a couple of weeks I dyed my hair to some kinda purple-red color. I actually like red hair (and that purple-thingy-color, too) but I wouldn't dye my hair constantly because I'm too afraid of the damage ^^;
So this color lasts only for a few days (in the end it was almost light-pink xD).

 The dress is actually a old gothic-lace-skirt from my sister - I made it into a strapless dress :D

And I really got into designing cute sleep-dresses! ^^
This one's is out of white lace and ruffles and ribbons.... aawwww... a little girls' dream :)
I really liked the contrast with the white dress and the (almost) red hair ^^

I'm designing other sleepwear at the moment.. I'm going to show you soon :)

Plan for summer holidays

As I saw so many people already having their plans for summer I want to share my plans, too.

* Mallorca vacation
* visiting family in Mainz
* visiting a friend in Leipzig
* maybe visiting Berlin
* having a lot of time for exercising
* going swimming and tanning of course
* meeting friends and party
* reorganize schoolthings
* find something I want to do after the a-levels
* start painting with acrylcolors
* of course sewing/knitting/crocheting and taking a lot of pictures!

A lot to do...

Kreativität macht einsam?

Hello guys...

this entry is for my german readers only, sorry!

In letzter Zeit ist mir deutlich aufgefallen, dass mein kreatives Hobby ein sehr einsames ist.
Als ich noch in Mainz lebte (das ist inzwischen 3 1/2 Jahre her) hatte ich öfters Treffen, bei denen man zusammen saß und zusammen an seinen kreativen Projekten arbeite (das ist inzwischen zu Freigeist e.V. geworden - sehr beeindruckend!). Oder ich konnte mich zumindest zu meiner Mama gesellen, die mir das Stricken und Häkeln beigebracht hat. 
Aber hier in Magdeburg habe ich so etwas nicht gefunden. Generell kenne ich hier so gut wie niemanden, der gerne näht, strickt oder häkelt, es lernen will, oder Zeit dafür hätte.
Meistens muss ich mich deswegen zwischen Zeit mit Freunden und der Kreativität entscheiden, was mir sehr schwerfällt. Immerhin ist es das, was ich mit meinem zukünftigen Leben anstellen will und dafür muss man sich schon reinhängen. Aber es macht verdammt einsam V_V

Es ärgert mich schon genug, dass ich in letzter Zeit wegen der Schule und anderen Problemen kaum mehr überhaupt dazu kam und wenn ich jetzt etwas freie Zeit habe, dann muss ich die auch noch aufsplitten in Soziale Kontakte vs. Kreativität -_-
Es wäre sooooo schön, wenn man das irgendwie vereinen könnte! Ich vermisse die Zeiten so sehr, als man noch zusammen saß, redete, Musik hörte, sich gegenseitig half und am Ende stolz seine fertigen Projekte präsentierte.. *seufz*

Für den unwahrscheinlichen Fall, dass ich hiermit grade jemanden von euch das ganze schmackhaft gemacht habe oder ihr einfach Mitleid habt (wahrscheinlicher ;)), könnt ihr euch gerne bei mir melden... ^_~

Popteen June 2012 Issue....

I am subscribed the "Popteen"-Magazine for many, many years now because I really liked this magazines and the in it presented styles.. but nowadays I'm in despair with their tastelevel...

Actually I liked this retro-gal-lolita-thing when it came up last year...

Cute, isn't it? It's not suiting my style at all and I wouldn't buy something like that. But on this tiny asian ladies it looks quite cute. No doubt about it.

BUT.. It's totally enough already!
And anyway, fashion lately has gotten more and more  into ways that I don't appreciate... when I browse through the June Issue of Popteen, there is almost nothing I like! And I have been subscribing Popteen every month since many years but now I am really thinking of canceling the Abonnement -_-
