Another entry in a row, yay xD

Spring finally came to Magdeburg and I just had to use the chance to grab Thomas, the big camera and take some shots of my newest dress! I am really in love with this dress, I don't want to brag.. but.. this was my first attempt for a dress like that and it actually did turn out exactly as I wanted it. I never expected that to happen, haha xD Therefore I am wearing it with pride :D
I wore it a few weeks ago for school, for my interview at the fashion-design-school and for partying (but there I took only silly party pictures as always), that's why some higher quality pictures had to be made! ^^

Debut as editorial staff with "port01 Magdeburg" :D

I am sick at the moment, that's why I'm acutally bored (that's an really unusual thing for me xD) and working on some blogposts... and I'm going to start with this news!

Last month I signed a contract with the city magazine "port01" in Magdeburg as a freelance editorial staff and yesterday was my first little article published, yay!

It's the first time I ever worked as a editor or as a photograph "for real" and it was quite a nice feeling reading my name on the editorial page ^o^

Into a new and sparkling Future!

This is my 100th posting here. I've come a long way since I started this blog. A lot happened, many good and a few sad moments as well... but I feel lucky that you read my postings, commented (whether here, facebook oder in real life) and shared so much moments with me!
Thanks to all of you! ♥


I felt really bad the last couple of months. I already told you about diseases in my family, own health problems, people that weren't that trustworthy as I thought, ....
But I am feeling better now. Slowly but nevertheless.
I decided a few things for me, changed me and myself little by little everyday. Tried to find out what's really "me" and live for it.
I cut a few people out of my life because I recognized the contact didn't give me anything positive. I had a hard time making that decision because there were people that I once really liked and some part of me never gave up hope that this friendship could be revived. But in the end I recognized that this would not come true because of certain circumstances. So I let it go.
In order to live on I had to let it got. That's one thing I learned in the past year.

And I finally understood that going to school again isn't my cup of tea. I don't need the A-Level Exams for my future. And it isn't quite as fun as I imagined it to be (i imagined something kinda like a school-dorama xD okay, actually I was bored with my former life that's why I applied -_- (I guess Ishould stop deciding my future because I am bored V_V)). And I'm tired of forcing myself into something because it seems to be "the right way" or just "the logical way" (or because parents think of that at least). Who decides that anyway? I'm satisfied with trying out this way of life as a pupil, I made my experiences, learned a lot about myself and got to know who real friends are. But that's it. Life has to go on.


Out of this experiences I learned about myself, what I really want to do with my life, who I really want to be.
There's a big bunch of work ahead, and future surely won't become easier, but
it feels great to finally move forward again. Worst thing is standing still.

While I had to do an application-map for design-school I found those pictures again, that I didn't post yet.
They are from my trip to mallorca last summer. They didn't turn out the way I wanted them (having the good quality cam with me would have made things a lot better -_-), but they're okay to show here, I think.

That's my cat named Minnie ^^ (but mostly is adressed as "Katze", "das Tier" or "Baby" - depending on what she has done this time ;))

She loves to jump and climb on people ^^;

When you don't expect that to happen (like at night on the way to the toilet -_-) this is quite scary xD

New haircolor and partying after a long time!

Because I had to prepare several things for my application for design school I had almost no time in the last few weeks for doing anything -_-
In addition the wheather in germany (especially in the east - where I live -_-) is still really cold and snowy.. I can't remember ever having snow on easter-holidays... o_O Where is spriiiiiiing? >_< this dark and cold weather is just so demotivating... I almost feel as if my life is on standby-modus while waiting for spring... V_V

Nevertheless I went partying again with some very good friends. One of our favorite clubs in Magdeburg is shutting down, that's why we had to go there for the last time and make some good memories! (although I've already got a LOT of good memories in this location ^_^v)
I used this event as reason for dying my hair light blond. I've never been that blond! ^^

So, for now, just a few silly party-pictures (which I already added in facebook, but who cares xD) ^^

Application for a fashiondesign-school

I never applied for a fashiondesign-school before.
Secretly I wanted to become a fashiondesigner for SO long but was too scared to go for my goal (because of the bad job chances afterwards, the pricey apprenticeship and last but not least... because I was scared of not being good enough / not being what they search for [my sense of fashion is just so different from most of other peoples'...]).
BUT I applied for a fashiondesign-school in Leipzig and got a first interview. Now I have to do a lot of sketches... GOODLOOKING sketches....... I frequently do sketching before I start sewing, BUT... my sketches are just for remembering the details, length, colors or cuts I wanted to use (because I'm doing at least 5 things at the same time I need such sketches to remember *lol*) and NOT for looking good! They are chaotic, fast drawn and all over the place ^^;;;
So I need to practice drawing again... I didn't drew anything except fashion in my whole life, anyway. That's why it shouldn't be that difficult......................I thought. V_V
Usually I'm not drawing characters, just the clothes only... and I'm so bad at drawing proportions, hands and feet ^^; In addition I never colored any of my sketches (I've only written the colors next to the drawing *lol* lazy me)... so much to do... need at least 15 (!) drawings for my application-folder x_X

A (late) tribute to carnival // Nails

Because I didn't do anything for carnival this year (in my city wasn't much to do, tough) due to some circumstances I wanted to show my love for it at least with my nails.
I tried to do a confetti-theme... I'm still learning to do proper fake nails ^^;

 

At first I did those ones. I really like white nail polish and some glitter. But I wasn't satisfied with them..

Than I ordered some fake nails at ebay...

And because I was just at it... I bought some bottom-lashes! Actually my first ones!

Really cheap, huh? I'm curious of the quality...

After I removed the carnival-nails I got my eyes on those new nailpolishes from essence...

The left one is a topcoat with silver and colorful glitter in it (which reminded me of confetti again xD) and the left one got the name "better than gel-nails" top-sealer. That're some big words!

I did two layers of this glitter-polish and added one layer of this top-sealer. It dried very fast. That's an advantage! ^^ (I HATE waiting for my nails to be dry! Arrgh!) The nails looked - in real - quite shiny and glittery and I like this polishes. BUT..... "better than gel nails" - WTF? Never. It wasn't as thick as gel and not as protective. After 2-3 days the polishes were halfy broken -_-
So, nothing better than a "normal" topcoat.


But I'm going to experiement with real gel nails soon, harhar... just waiting for another order to arrive :D

Sightseeing "Herkules": A view over Kassel

It's already half a year ago that we visited Kassel. It's quite in the middle of the distance between Mainz and Magdeburg. We're driving by everytime I visit my parents. Therefore we planned to spend a day in Kassel on our journey back to Magdeburg!
The city of Kassel isn't that beautiful. It's narrow and crowded. But there are some interesting places like the "Orangerie" and the "Auedamm". It's a huge park next to the riverside with lakes and little bridges and a large playground (yes, we played there as well :P - no pics from that! haha)
And - of course - the Herkules with castle Wilhelmshöhe! It's also a large park with meadows, lakes, brighes, little castles, rosefields and even a roman aqueduct. It's really really pretty! *_*

I made lots of pictures. And I regret again that I didn't take the good, heavy camera with me >_<! The pictures would have turned out SO much better >_< (it was really warm and sunny on that day and almost every picture came out in a awkward light exposure or turned out being blurry V_V;

This should be my new home. It suits me :P

After all we spend a whole day in this park. It's really huge and you can walk hundreds of different ways and explore little castles and other attractions. It's quite a hike walkimg from the castle "Wilhelmshöhe" to "Herkules". And I hadn't got the best shoes for that ^^; There are a lot of gravel and country paths. And also a LOT of stairs ^^ (I had a bad muscleache after walking up there ^^) The statue of "Herkules" was under construction, that's why I couldn't take a picture of it :/
I can really recommend visiting this area! And take a GOOD camera with you, you'll need it!! ^^;;

... I just had to take a picture there :P

By the way, the dress I'm wearing is made by me. I named it "sweet like candy"-dress because my sister said I would look like a piece of candy in it xD
